NIGERIA National Council Of Yoruba Youths Protest At Us Embassy, Kick Against Suit To Prosecute The Killings Of IPOB Members
BREAKING NEWS!
The National Committee of Yoruba Youths yesterday stormed the American Embassy to protest a suit filed by ten members of the IPOB against the chief of Army staff Buratai and 13 other soldiers over the extra judicial killing of Biafran agitators in 2016 in Aba and Onitsha.
The suit was filed in a District court in District of Columbia, USA under an American law that allows victims of state sponsored terror to file a suit in America to redress the acts of foreign government against them.
The Yoruba Youths, while carrying placards and protesting at the gate of the US Embassy in Lagos, in a petition submitted to the American consulate, said that the IPOB are the enemies of Nigeria and of the Nigerian state and that the suit filed by those Biafran agitators has the capability of demoralizing the army in the fight against terror.
The Yoruba Youths said that the actions of the IPOB amount to terror against Nigeria and that the army is justified to use any force necessary against them to maintain the unity of Nigeria.
The youths sought that the suit be dismissed immediately.
The Yoruba Youths thanked Trump over his fight against terror and asked him not to promote terror by allowing the American court grant the reliefs sought by those IPOB agitators against the heads of the Nigerian army as it will amount to promoting terrorism.
