Declaration of indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) a terrorist organization: A position not founded in law, and where the Nigerian Military Authority goofed.

In a brief but concise reaction to the purported declaration of IPOB a terrorist group, Barr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor observed with respect that the pronouncement is akin to a building not laid upon any foundation, which is certainly bound to fail, it can't stand. The pertinent question begging for answer in this context, is whether the Nigeria Military authority has the constitutional powers, under a democratic dispensation, to declare an organization, a terrorist group? The answer is capital NO. Militants Overpowers 4 Soldiers In Niger Delta, Takes Them To Creek & Shot Them Dead.. Details

A couple of Nigerian soldiers operating in the Niger Delta area of Nigeria have been gruesomely murdered in an ambush by suspected militants.

Unknown gunmen, suspected to be militants, have reportedly killed four soldiers and a civilian in Bayelsa State.

The suspects were said to have laid an ambush for the soldiers along the waterways of Letugbene, Ekeremor Local Government Area of the state.

Some security sources confirmed that a team of soldiers returning from Letugbene community on Monday became victims of an ambush laid by armed youths believed to be militants.
